Menstrual stigma is a global phenomenon where periods are viewed as something impure and inappropriate to discuss, meaning anything related to them should be kept private. Many individuals, from a young age, are taught that menstruation is something to be concealed or hidden for women to lead their everyday lives.

let’s talk. was created to begin the conversation surrounding menstruation and aid in normalizing period talk in everyday life. It contains punchy graphics with simple, digestible statistics in order to serve as conversation starters. The overall mood and aesthetic is bright and playful, as periods should not be viewed as a ‘doom-and-gloom’, serious subject. It is a part of daily life, just like tying your shoes or changing your tires.
